Members of Hong Kong Post’s volunteer service team “PostCare Club” visited the elderly in Tak Tin Estate. Joined by the senior volunteers from Bradbury Tak Tin Social Service Centre for the Senior of Free Methodist Church of Hong Kong, they delivered love and care to these beneficiaries before Mid-Autumn Festival.
Volunteers listen attentively to social worker on the elderly’s living conditions in Tak Tin Estate.
The well-trained postmen pack the souvenirs in the blink of an eye.
In addition to mooncakes and pears, volunteers pack some soft, ripe and sweet persimmons for the seniors.
“Isn’t it delightful to welcome friends visiting from afar?” Both participants and elderly enjoy these home visits.
There is no age limit for volunteerism. All you need is a caring heart. Our salute to the senior volunteers and the messengers of love and care from Hong Kong Post “PostCare Club”.
