To attract more people to take part in Walks for Millions, The Community Chest has worked with different organisations and government departments to gain access to unique trials for staging the walks. For instance, MacLehose Trail and Tolo Highway were incorporated into the Walks for Millions routes, giving an added attraction to an already popular event.
Over the years, the completion of many large scale infrastructure projects has presented the Chest with many golden opportunities to stage the Walks against these magnificent backdrops. Some of these include the Lantua Link, Island Eastern Corridor, Western Harbour Tunnel, Chek Lap Kok Airport, Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor, Stonecutters Bridge, etc. All of theses walks were great successes!
All it requires is that you show your care, and you too, can beat the traffic and be the first to leave your footprints on these scenic routes.
