Since then, the event has time and again reached new heights. Over the past 40 years, 163 walks have been organised with close to 3 million participants, raising a total of over HK$500 million.
'Walks for Millions' is now the best known and most popular fund-raising event organised by the Community Chest, and the most family-oriented, with whole families and teams taking part. Rooted within every Hong Konger’s heart, 'Walks for Millions' mark the starting point for Hong Kong people to join hands and care for the community together.
