The Community Chest provides a collective channel to raise funds for member agencies. By reducing the time and efforts needed to raise funds, welfare agencies can better concentrate on developing their services to the community.
Each of us donate for different reasons, and there may be a particularly group of people or organisation that you wish to support. Some questions that arise might include: ‘Where will my donations go? What kind of projects and services can I help?’ or ‘Will my donations be given to local or overseas beneficiaries?’
Well, the answer is simple! If there is a specific service or group under our member agencies that you wish to support, simply inform the Chest while making the donation, and we will ensure that the money goes exactly where you want it to go.
No matter whom you would like to help — the elderly suffering from dementia, battered wives, children with learning disabilities, young substance abusers, those addicted to the Internet, or people from violent homes… just let us know! The Chest will make sure your donations are used to help the people you designate. Through a monitoring system, we will also ensure that your donations are used wisely and effectively.
